We got a pet. Her name is Stella of the Hallway. I can't quite take a good photo of her digs, but we are enjoying her.
We visited friends outside of Austin who have the best pet ever. Sadie, the Duck of the Backyard. If we weren't beholden to our HOA, you better believe we'd have a duck in our yard right this instant. She is the funnest pet I've ever seen.

Lucy started preschool. She is loving it.
Rowan got some "monster jams." Could he seriously be any cuter?! I die every time he has these things on.
I finished my second full triathlon in Austin over Labor Day. Also loving it.
Finally, a story from today:
Lucy (sitting in the back of the van eating smarties. Thoughtfully, she picks up the last one): "Mom, I'm going to save this one for a snowy day."
Me (smiling): "I think that's a great idea."
(10 minutes go by in transit)
Lucy: "Mom? I think I'm going to pretend it's a snowy day."

I love love love it all, the fish the monster jams,the duck, I so love the triathalon you are so awesome! and of course i love that girl, i am sure she is loving pre k. she looks so grown up i couldn't believe it. Love you and miss you so much.

The fishbowl is part DIY. I did back it with paper using mod podge- but how cool is it that the thing mounts to the wall?
I am in love with the fish on the wall!!! I must have that!!
WAY TO GO on the triathlon!!! That is awesome (I am a little jealous ;)
